About CoreSkillAI

Evidence-based assessments for curious minds

Our Mission

CoreSkillAI was built on a simple idea: everyone deserves access to professional-grade cognitive and personality assessments — for free, with no strings attached.

We combine research from clinical psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience into interactive tests that give you real, meaningful results instantly.

📊

Real Data

Percentile norms derived from published research involving hundreds of thousands of participants globally.

🧪

Validated Tests

Each assessment is based on established psychological constructs: Big Five, EQ-i, Stroop Effect, Miller's Law.

The Science

IQ Test (Fluid Intelligence)

40 questions across number series (sequential reasoning), visual matrix patterns (spatial intelligence), and number analogies (relational thinking). Scored on standard IQ scale: mean 100, SD 15.

Reaction Time

Based on simple visual reaction time research. Average adult response: 250–270ms. Distribution data from Jain et al. (2015) across 50,000+ participants.

Working Memory (Digit Span)

Miller's (1956) foundational research: humans hold 7±2 items in working memory. The digit span subtest is part of clinical IQ assessments (WAIS, WISC).

Big Five Personality

Questions adapted from the IPIP Big-Five Factor Markers (Goldberg, 1992). The OCEAN model is the most replicated personality framework in psychology.

Stroop Effect (Focus)

First described by J.R. Stroop (1935). The interference effect measures executive function and cognitive control — a reliable predictor of working memory capacity.

Our Approach to Cognitive Testing

CoreSkillAI builds free, anonymous versions of classic instruments from experimental psychology β€” digit span, Stroop interference, simple reaction time, matrix reasoning, the five-factor personality model β€” and presents them with modern interfaces and global percentile comparisons. Every test page explains the underlying science, the research it draws on, and the honest limitations of browser-based testing.

No account is required, results are computed on your device, and nothing you enter is sold or shared. Percentiles are calculated against anonymized aggregate score distributions. These tools are for education and self-exploration; they are not clinical instruments, and no online test can replace professional psychological or medical assessment.
